Floor Care and Surface Refresh
A floor that looks tired does not always need complete replacement or sanding. Depending on the material and finish, a suitable clean or maintenance treatment may help with surface dirt, light scuffing or a dull appearance. This service starts by identifying what the floor is and what is causing the change you can see.
I look at the flooring, the existing finish and the products used to maintain it. We discuss whether the issue is removable residue, ordinary surface wear or deeper damage, then choose an appropriate cleaning or refresh approach. Where a maintenance coating is considered, its suitability for that particular surface needs to be checked first.
Timber, laminate, hybrid and vinyl do not all respond to the same products or treatment. Extra water, abrasive methods or an unsuitable polish can create new problems. A surface refresh also cannot repair swelling, broken joints or deep wear, and some floors will be better served by a separate repair or refinishing assessment.
Tell me which areas look different and what you normally use to clean them. Photos in normal room light can help us discuss the likely next step, without assuming that a full renovation is necessary.
